The Grafting of Persephone is a short story by Autumn Wolff, and is an alternate ending of The Hades Calculus.

Blurb

Persephone awakens to find herself imprisoned in a flesh she has never worn, though it isn't one she's unfamiliar with. Now stuck in the body of her sister, a Mark Two, the Dread Persephone must find a way to thwart Demeter's plans and undo her downgrade.

That is. . . if she even can. As she plays the role of Khrysothemis, it becomes clear to Persephone that she isn't alone in this new body. And her sister may have plans of her own.

The Grafting of Persephone is a novelette that provides an alternate ending for The Hades Calculus, starting with the party where Persephone is poisoned. [1]
