General notes
One you have an approved account, you are able to begin making edits and contributions. Please refer to the Gunmetal Olympus Wiki:Article Guidelines page for advice on what content to include in the wiki.
Style wise, whilst this wiki is being established, err on the side of including information and figuring out how to neatly format it later.
Please include categories on each entry. A complete list of categories can be found here (fyi the list includes a few system categories).
Links
External links, when not written in the add link box in the main editor, need to be formatted as
[url Displayed Text]For example:
[https://gunmetalolympus.wiki Gunmetal Olympus Wiki]If there is no text after the url, then no text will be displayed once the page is saved.
Wiki Linking
Every entry in the wiki can be found here. Please link to entries where pages exist. By typing [[ in the main editor, a popup will launch allowing you to search by page name. Note: the wiki's search is case-sensitive. Where a page does not yet exist, but should, follow the same process, instead typing out the full page name and adding it to your entry. It should appear in red.
Infoboxes
Infoboxes can be added in the main editor: Insert > Template > search for 'Infobox: '. They need to be added at the top of the page, above any article content. There are currently four custom infobox templates:
- personnel file: for characters
- Deity: for the Gods
- book simple: for published books
- rp account: for GO RP accounts
- Eidolon: for Eidolons
- Creator: for people in the GO community
